Best UMATT moment or memory:

“On the morning before leaving for competition our sleep deprived computer engineering team were working anxiously to build a new control board after the first two were fried (for, at the time, unknown reasons). At around 5 a.m., they connected our second to last board–one more board served as our final backup–to the tractor. We were about ready to start up the tractor again. The moment was tense; fingers were crossed, and all of UMATT HQ fell silent. We were all watching. Waiting. And then, a miraculous thing happened: We had successful actuator movement followed by many smiling faces–high fives were imminent. Unfortunately, the celebrations were short lived as we proceeded to load the tractor in the trailer and began our 16 hour journey to Peoria.”
